Microorganisms with flagella<br><strong>Procedure:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Materials:<\/strong> <strong>(Complete procedure in the video link below)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">1. Prepare a bacterial smear on a clean microscope slide using the inoculating loop.<br>2. Fix the smear by passing the slide over the Bunsen burner flame a few times.<br>3. Apply a few drops of Basic Fuchsin from the Leifson Stain Kit to cover the smear. Allow it to stand for 2-3 minutes.<br>4. Rinse the slide gently with distilled water to remove excess stain.<br>5. Apply a few drops of Tannic Acid solution from the kit for approximately 1 minute to enhance contrast.<br>6. Rinse the slide again with distilled water.<br>7. Counterstain the smear with Methylene Blue for 1 minute.<br>8. Rinse and blot the slide gently to remove excess stain.<br>9. Allow the slide to air dry completely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Observation:<\/strong><br>Examine the stained smear under a microscope.
